Our Mission

We work to rescue and protect injured wildlife, raise awareness about conservation, and inspire people to live in harmony with nature through education, and sustainable community engagement.

Our Vision

We envision a future where people and wildlife thrive together, every individual plays a part in protecting nature, and communities actively contribute to building a greener, cleaner, and sustainable planet.

Our Values

Guided by compassion, community, and integrity, we believe every small effort matters. Through teamwork, and, awareness, we aim to create lasting positive change for animals and the environment.

Who We Are

Our organization, Eco Rescuers Foundations (ERF) is an focused NGO, which is working for
the environmental conservation in and around the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. Jaipur,
which is also now a UNESCO heritage city, is not only famous for its historical and cultural
aspects but has beautiful and unique landscapes surrounding the city such as Jhalana
leopard reserve. Unfortunately, like any other tier-2 Indian city, it is struggling to maintain a
balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability. Therefore, as residents
of Jaipur it is our duty to help in the crisis.
ERF was officially established in 2018 with the aim to bring together nature lovers from
various walks of life to work for environmental conservation in Jaipur and beyond. We
started with a team of a few founding members including Dr. Gaurav Choudhary (Secretary),
Ms Neha Choudhary (Treasurer), Dr. Swarupanand Sarkar (Vice President), Dr. Sivee
Chawla , Mr. Aman Bhatia and Mr. Harish. The team now has six board members including
the founding members, Mr. Mahesh Vijayvargiya and Mr. Govind S. Rathod.

How We Work

We work round the year and also organize several events every couple of months. The year round services include rescue of animal including snakes, mongoose, monitor lizard, civet, desert fox, Indian rock python, crocodiles, dogs, monkeys, birds (domestic and wild birds), etc. We help and support Rajasthan forest department in the rescue of wildlife. During country-wide lockdown caused by Covid-19, in year 2020 & 2021 we fed around 150 animals across the city daily for 2 months. Also, we provide free medical support to injured birds and animals.

Community Engagement

Effective conservation relies on strong environmental stewardship from civil society. We particularly focus on raising awareness and sensitizing people through a variety of workshops and education campaigns. We work closely with experts to deepen the understanding of key environmental issues through well designed hands-on and engaging sessions. At all our events, we encourage active public participation- beyond financial contribution-for the individuals to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in conservation efforts.
